Chalybeate, Kentucky—Today, Edmonson County Judge/Executive Scott Lindsey endorsed Andy Barr to be the next Senator from Kentucky.
“As a lifelong resident of Edmonson County, I ran for Judge Executive to make sure that our county had a voice, and to help build a brighter future for our residents. When I look at this race, the only question is who can help me deliver for our people on day one? It’s clear that Andy Barr is that candidate, that he will fight for key federal dollars for Edmonson County, and that he will always have our back in Washington. He personally called me and spoke to me at length about what was important to Edmonson County, and what avenues he will assist with to help us grow,” said Judge Lindsey.
“From infrastructure work to economic development projects and constituent services, Judge Lindsey is constantly working for Kentuckians in Edmonson County,” said Barr. “He has tremendous pride in the community and is committed to making Edmonson County even stronger. I’ll always work with him as your Senator, and I’m honored to have his support for my campaign.”
Judge Lindsey was born and raised in Edmonson County and raised his family in the county as well. He has proudly served as Judge Executive since 2023. He previously served as Deputy Judge Executive and was Senior Admissions Director for Genesis HealthCare at the Edmonson Center for 14 years prior to being elected to serve the people of Edmonson County.
