Madisonville, Kentucky —Today, Hopkins County Judge/Executive Jack Whitfield announced his endorsement of Andy Barr (R-KY) for the United States Senate.
“I’m ready to get to work with Andy Barr to deliver for Hopkins County,” said Judge Whitfield. “Judge/Executives in his District know that Andy is always there to boost local projects in their communities and answer the call whenever constituents need it. I’m looking forward to working with him when he’s our U.S. Senator.”

Judge Whitfield has served as Hopkins County Judge/Executive since 2019, bringing decades of leadership experience in both public service and the private sector. A proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Judge Whitfield previously worked as a coal miner for many years as well.
Judge Whitfield joins more than 28 other county Judge/Executives in endorsing Barr’s campaign. Barr has earned over 170 major endorsements—more than all other candidates combined.
