Barbourville, Kentucky—Today, Knox County Judge Executive Mike Mitchell endorsed Andy Barr to be the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Judge Mitchell has served as Knox County Judge Executive since 2019.
“I am excited to endorse Congressman Andy Barr for the U.S. Senate,” said Mike Mitchell, Judge Executive of Knox County.“After meeting with Congressman Barr and discussing the issues affecting Knox County and our region, I believe he is the best choice for Senator.”

Judge Mitchell is a native of Eastern Kentucky who was a businessman before entering public service.
