Beattyville, Kentucky—Today, Lee County Judge/Executive Steve Mays endorsed Andy Barr to be the next Senator from Kentucky.
“Watching Andy Barr campaign frequently in our community, listen to our needs, and come with ideas on how to solve our problems, made me decide it’s time to support him,” said Judge Mays. “Andy is all over our state campaigning while helping President Trump implement his agenda to help Kentucky families, protect Kentucky coal, and invest in our communities. I’m with him all the way.”
“Judge Mays is a steady leader for Lee County who has helped the community recover and rebuild from natural disasters and four years of out-of-control inflation under President Biden,” said Barr. “Together, we will fight for Eastern Kentucky jobs, coal, and resources needed to advance Lee County forward.”
Judge Mays first served as Judge/Executive of Lee County from 2007-2018 and again since 2023.
