Lexington, Kentucky—Today, U.S. Senator Ted Budd (R-North Carolina) endorsed Andy Barr (R-KY) to be the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Senator Budd joins Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), and Rep. Hal Rogers (R-KY) as Trump-backed candidates in Congress that are now behind Barr. Conservative Activists Riley Gaines and Nick Sandmann have also endorsed Barr’s campaign.
“Andy Barr and I have fought together to advance the America First Agenda and support President Trump,” said Senator Budd. “Andy will be a leading conservative with me in the Senate, will fight with us to secure the border, and will support a strong national security for America.
