Union County CJE Adam O’Nan Endorses Andy Barr for Senate

The President-elect of the Kentucky Association of Counties is putting his support behind Barr.

Sturgis, Kentucky—Today, Union County Judge/Executive Adam O’Nan endorsed Andy Barr to be the next Senator from Kentucky.

“As a Judge/Executive, small business operator, and farmer, I’m thrilled to endorse and partner with Andy Barr when he’s our U.S. Senator,” said Judge O’Nan. “Andy Barr has achieved tremendous victories for farmers, voting for and guiding legislation into law that will end the death tax on almost 2 million family farms. He’s fought to cut red-tape for small business owners, will be a champion for Kentucky coal, and will work with me to advocate for Union County at the federal level. I’m behind him completely.”

“Judge O’Nan is a great leader for Union County and is widely respected among Judge/Executives throughout the Commonwealth,” said Barr. “Together, we will fight for our farmers, small business owners, for Kentucky coal, for families, and for Western Kentucky. I’m honored to have his endorsement and look forward to working with him in the years to come.”

Judge O’Nan grew up in Sturgis, Kentucky, and helped run his family farm for over 30 years before becoming Judge/Executive of Union County. He is the President-elect of the Kentucky Association of Counties.
