The only two independent polls of the race show Barr as clear leader in KY Senate GOP Primary
Lexington, Kentucky—The second independently conducted poll of the 2026 Kentucky U.S. Senate Republican primary shows Andy Barr surging to a first place lead. The latest poll from Quantus Insights surveyed 870 likely GOP voters and showed Barr leading with 28%, Daniel Cameron with 27%, and Nate Morris at 17%.
Quantus Insights poll comes on the heels of the first independent poll of the cycle from Emerson/Nexstar Media released on Thursday showing Barr leading the field. Nate Morris is more than 10 points behind after more than $8M spent on his failing campaign.
“The more Kentucky Republicans learn about Andy Barr’s record of Chairing President Trump’s 2024 primary campaign in Kentucky, helping him pass the largest tax cut in history and secure the border, the more they want him in the U.S. Senate fighting for them alongside Trump,” said Alex Bellizzi, Campaign Spokesman for Barr. ”Meanwhile, Nate Morris is stuck in the basement just like his buddy Joe Biden, who Nate supported through and through from Biden’s Paris Climate Accords to destroy Kentucky coal, to his America “Rescue Plan” that created historic inflation. Kentuckians can’t afford to nominate this woke liberal posing as a Republican who is in a statistical tie with leading Democrat Charles Booker in a recent poll.”
