Barr Maintains Commanding Financial Advantage as General Election Begins; Booker Reports Debt

Lexington, KY — Congressman Andy Barr, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, enters the general election with a commanding financial advantage over Democrat Charles Booker.

Barr raised more than $1.9 million and reports $2.2 million cash-on-hand. Booker reports $309,000 cash-on-hand while carrying more than $90,000 in debt.

“Kentuckians have a clear choice this November. Andy Barr is building the resources to win because he’s focused on lowering costs, securing the border, and keeping Kentucky families safe. Charles Booker is running on the same far-left agenda he’s championed for years—from abolishing ICE, defunding police, and bankrupting our country with the Green New Deal. Kentucky voters rejected that agenda before, and they’ll reject it again in November,” said Alex Bellizzi, Campaign Spokesman for Barr.
