Nate Morris Gets Another $10M for the Bonfire

Lexington, Kentucky—Today, Blake Gober, Campaign Manager for Andy Barr, released the following statement after the Nate Morris campaign money pit grew deeper:

“The more money Nate Morris spends, the more Kentuckians get to see him and the worse he does. Nate Morris and his never-Trump allies have already spent $6 million on TV, and he’s stuck in a distant third and statistically tied with a DEMOCRAT in a Kentucky general election poll. It’s because Kentuckians are learning the truth about Nate: he supported Nikki Haley over President Trump, his business was de-listed from the NYSE after one year because it was a disaster, and he was a DEI promoting CEO. Nate Morris spending money made this a two man race between Andy Barr and Daniel Cameron. Nate Morris spending more money will cement it that way.”

Rubicon 2.0: Morris Burns Millions in Campaign Money Pit

  • We have seen this movie before. Nate Morris and company spent $6 million on television ads last year and he was soundly rejected by Kentuckians because he is Phony, Fake, and Full of Garbage.
  • After all that money, Nate is stuck in single digits in the polls. His favorable/unfavorable rating with Kentuckians is also under water.
  • Even more dangerously, Nate is LOCKED in a statistical tie with a Democrat in Kentucky, and not just any Democrat, the AOC of Kentucky who backs reparations, the Green New Deal, and Medicare for All.
  • Kentuckians cannot risk losing the U.S. Senate for President Donald J Trump by nominating Nate Morris.

Morris is Never-Trump

  • Morris backed Nikki Haley, NOT President Trump, ahead of the 2024 Presidential Campaign.
  • Nate is a johnny come lately to the MAGA movement. Who was his 2024 Republican candidate of choice? Nikki Haley. He didn’t donate to Trump in 2016, 2020, or 2024 primary.
  • Nikki Haley was the ONLY Republican candidate Nate Morris donated to ahead of the 2024 Republican Presidential Primary.
  • Nate personally donated $5,000 to Nikki Haley’s SuperPAC ahead of the 2024 Republican Primary.

Morris was America’s Original Woke CEO

  • Nate was all-in on DEI and ESG as a corporate CEO. He even hired David Plouffe and Leonardo DiCaprio to help him run his company.
  • Under his leadership, the company bragged that they were “committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • In 2019, Nate signed the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion pledge.
  • Nate made his employees take “unconscious bias education” courses.
  • His company gloated about having 50% of his corporate board composed of “historically-underrepresented” people—prioritizing identity politics over hiring the best talent.
  • Nate’s business pushed employees to support businesses that were “ecofriendly and LGBTQ+ owned.”
  • Unsurprisingly, under Morris’ leadership, Rubicon suffered a $281 million operating loss in his last year as CEO with his focus on DEI.
  • No amount of money will make Nate Morris right for Kentucky.
