KY Rep. Jared Bauman Endorses Andy Barr for Senate

Louisville, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Representative Jared Bauman (R-HD-28) endorsed Andy Barr to be the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Bauman endorsed Barr at the press conference Barr held touting the withdrawal of Louisville from the Reformulated Gas (RFG) program.

Barr directly advocated with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin and Deputy Administrator David Fotouhi for this request to be approved. The RFG withdrawal will save Kentuckians an estimated 20-25 cents per gallon of gas, according to analysis by the Kentucky State Senate.

“My friends in Southwest Louisville, I want you to know that I’m endorsing Andy Barr for the U.S. Senate,” said Rep. Bauman. “Andy has delivered for Louisville and for Kentucky time and time again. We need to send him to the U.S. Senate.”

“I’m honored to have Representative Bauman behind my campaign for U.S. Senate,” said Barr. “He does a great job for Kentuckians in Southwest Louisville in Frankfort. Jared played a big part on the RFG announcement this week and I look forward to working with him to keep delivering for Louisville when I’m in the U.S. Senate.”

Rep. Bauman becomes the 22nd sitting member of the Kentucky House of Representatives to endorse Andy Barr for Senate. Barr is leading in pollingfundraising, and has more endorsements than all of his opponents combined.
