KY State Senator Brandon Storm Endorses Andy Barr for U.S. Senate

London, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Brandon Storm (R-SD-21) endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.

“I’m backing Andy Barr because no one will fight harder for Kentucky’s coal and energy industry, for our police, and for our Constitution,” said Senator Storm, who serves as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. “Andy understands that coal is not just an industry — it’s a way of life in Eastern Kentucky. Andy has a bold, serious plan to revive coal, protect miners, and restore American energy dominance, and that’s exactly the leadership Kentucky needs right now.”

“I’m proud to have Senator Brandon Storm on our team and grateful for his strong leadership for Eastern Kentucky,” said Barr. “Senator Storm is a proven conservative who understands what’s at stake for coal country, law enforcement, and working families. Together, we’ll fight to bring back Kentucky coal, defend our values, and deliver real results for Eastern Kentucky and the entire Commonwealth

Senator Storm was first elected in 2020. The 21st District includes Casey, Laurel, Lincoln, and Rockcastle Counties. Senator Storm joins Congressman Hal Rogers as well as nine other sitting State Senators and Damon Thayer, the Former Kentucky State Senate Majority Leader in backing Barr’s Senate campaign. Barr has over 160 major endorsements, more than all of his opponents combined.
