Berea, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Jared Carpenter (R-SD-34) endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“Andy Barr and I started our careers in public service together, serving many of the same Kentuckians over the years. No one works harder, delivers more consistently, and puts Kentucky First better than Andy Barr,” said Senator Carpenter. “Madison County has been well served by having Andy Barr as our Congressman and he will do a great job as our next U.S. Senator.”

Senator Carpenter was first elected in 2010. The 34th Senate District includes part of Fayette and all of Madison County. Senator Carpenter joins eight other sitting Kentucky State Senators and the Former Senate Majority Leader in endorsing Barr, who has over 160 major endorsements for his campaign. Barr’s campaign has more endorsements than all of his opponents combined.
