Murray, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Jason Howell (R-SD-01) endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“Western Kentucky could send no one better to the Senate than Andy Barr,” said Senator Howell. “Andy has consistently fought and won for our farmers, most recently voting for a new federal law that ended the death tax on 2 million family farms. Andy’s shown that he will always advocate for communities he represents in Washington, and I know that he will do the same for Western Kentucky when he’s in the Senate. I’m behind him all the way.”
“As Chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, State Senator Howell is making sure Western Kentucky farmers have their voices heard in Frankfort,” said Barr. “I will do the same in Washington. I will work hand-in-hand with Chairman Howell to protect our farmers, our farm land, and Western Kentucky. I’m grateful to have his support.”
Senator Howell was elected to the State Senate in 2020 and represents Calloway, Crittenden, Fulton, Graves, Hickman, Lyon, and Trigg Counties in the State Senate. He is an attorney and was born and raised in Fulton County.
