Frenchburg, KY—Today, Menifee County Judge/Executive Hector Alcala has announced his endorsement of Andy Barr for U.S Senate. Judge Alcala joins President Donald Trump and over 170 other major endorsers of Barr’s campaign. Alcala has been serving as Menifee County Judge/Executive since September 2025.
“I am endorsing Andy Barr for U.S Senate. I have complete confidence in Andy to be the leader we need in the United States Senate,” said Judge Alcala. “He has consistently delivered for Kentucky’s 6th district in the House of Representatives, and I am excited for him to deliver results for all of Kentucky in the Senate.”

Before serving as Menifee County Judge/Executive, Judge Alcala protected our commonwealth in a variety of different law enforcement roles, including the Kentucky State Police, where he was named Post 8 Trooper of the year in 2008 and 2010. He was also named Kentucky Narcotics Officer of the year in 2013.
Judge Alcala marks the 32nd County Judge/Executive to endorse Andy Barr’s Senate Campaign. Barr’s Campaign continues to gain support four days from the election, as he is leading in endorsements, fundraising, and polling.
