Alexandria, Kentucky — State Representative Mike Clines (R-HD-68) announced today that he is endorsing Andy Barr for the U.S. Senate.
“Andy Barr will be ready on day one to serve northern Kentucky in the Senate,” said Rep. Clines. “He shows up, knows our region well, and understands how much it contributes to the Commonwealth. I’m confident he will be a strong partner in advancing our region’s success, and I’m proud to support him.”
Barr expressed appreciation for Clines’ endorsement.
“Representative Clines has done excellent work and given Campbell County a stronger voice in Frankfort,” Barr said. “He has been a consistent champion of religious liberty and, as a longtime educator, a strong advocate for Kentucky’s children. I’m thankful for his endorsement.”
Rep. Clines represents House District 68, which covers part of Campbell County. In Frankfort, he serves as vice chair of the House Primary and Secondary Education Committee and sits on the Banking and Insurance, Licensing, Occupations, and Administrative Regulations, and Families and Children committees.
Clines joins President Trump and more than 170 other leaders in endorsing Barr’s campaign. A recent Public Opinion Strategies poll found Barr ahead of former Attorney General Daniel Cameron, 43% to 24%.
