Meet Andy
Andy Barr first got fired up to run for Congress when Barack Obama was shredding the Constitution and attempting to remake America into a socialist country. Andy was driven by a cause – to restore the American Dream, save America from bankruptcy, and keep the American people safe with peace through strength. He has never stopped fighting for those conservative principles. Now more than ever, Andy believes it is critical for Kentuckians to have a strong and proven leader representing them.

As a conservative, Andy believes that limited government and free enterprise empower the American people with the greatest opportunity to pursue happiness, provide for their families, and give their children a better life. He has consistently voted to reduce the size and scope of the federal government, stop bureaucratic overreach, and preserve the rights guaranteed to the people in the Constitution.
Andy is leading the fight against woke environmentalists who are trying to destroy Kentucky Coal. The first veto of Joe Biden’s presidency was a bill Andy wrote to block Biden’s ESG mandates to protect Americans’ retirement accounts and 401(k)s.
