Andy Barr believes we must deport all criminal illegals and secure the border. Andy voted for the largest border security bill in history that sent record resources to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to seal our border in 2025. When Joe Biden opened our borders to millions of illegal immigrants, he voted to impeach Biden’s DHS Secretary for failing to enforce our border security laws. Andy received the endorsement of the National Border Patrol Council and has a perfect, A+ rating from NumbersUSA, the top border security advocacy group in the country. Andy has consistently fought for policies such as:

• Restarting border wall construction
• Funding to hire more border agents
• Reinstating the Remain in Mexico policy
• Ending catch and release

Charles Booker will raise taxes on every Kentuckian, Andy Barr wants to cut taxes for every Kentuckian. Andy has always fought for tax cuts. In 2025, he voted for the largest tax cut in American history, the Big Beautiful Bill. The average Kentucky family with two kids saves $4,200 under the new tax law that Andy helped author, champion, and push through Congress.

The Big Beautiful Bill ended taxes on Social Security for seniors, taxes on overtime for Kentucky workers, and tips for Kentucky’s great waiters and waitresses. Andy also championed the Made in America tax credit that helped secure a $1B investment from Apple into the Corning manufacturing plant in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. This investment doubles jobs at the plant, where all the iPhone and AppleWatch glass will now be produced.

As the father of three daughters, Andy has long defended girls’ sports and private spaces from the radical trans movement. He’s leading the Defend Girls’ Athletics Act that cuts off federal funding to any school or university that refuses to uphold the ban on biological men in girls’ sports. He supported and voted for legislation banning sex change operations on minors. His work protecting our girls led him to receive the endorsement of Riley Gaines. Andy has been clear, there are two genders – God given, not doctor altered – and there should be no men in girls’ sports, locker rooms, or bathrooms.

Andy Barr has led the fight for our veterans, passing the Veterans Fairness and Transparency Act, ensuring our veterans had access to key disability benefits when federal offices shuttered during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To help our veterans transition to successful civilian careers, Andy championed the Veteran STEM Scholarship Enhancement Act into law. This law boosted science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) scholarships for veterans.

Most recently, Andy ushered through Congress legislation giving veterans more access to non-VA provided healthcare options.

Andy created the Veterans for Barr Coalition, a group of volunteer veterans and advocates who come together to advise him on veterans issues. Andy Barr will always take care of our veterans.

Andy’s work to unleash Kentucky energy doesn’t end with coal. The first veto of Joe Biden’s presidency was a bill Andy wrote to block Biden’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) mandates to protect Americans’ retirement accounts and 401(k)s. And when Biden tried to backdoor the Green New Deal through financial regulators like the Federal Reserve and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Andy Barr held the line.

When the Radical Left comes for your firearm or to impose more restrictions on law-abiding gun owners, Andy will stand in the breach and fight for our Second Amendment rights. Andy has consistently opposed gun control bills put forward to strip gun owners of their firearms without due process.

Andy also led the Fair Access to Banking Act, which prohibits banks from discriminating against the firearms industry.

In the last Congress, Andy had a perfect A+ voting record from the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Andy also proudly received endorsements in the past from the National Rifle Association and Gun Owners of America.

Andy Barr is leading the charge against the CCP. Andy led the STOP Chinese Fentanyl Act into law, which sanctions anyone involved in China with fentanyl manufacturing. The Drug Enforcement Administration estimates that half of fentanyl comes from China. That poison is killing Kentuckians every year and Andy Barr won’t stand for it.

Andy also succeeded in passing a law that cuts off American investment into Chinese military, surveillance, and technology companies.

While Charles Booker wants to defund the police and abolish cash-bail, Andy Barr strongly supports police and will work with them to help keep Kentucky safe. Andy has been endorsed in his past campaigns by the Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police and has voted to increase federal funding to support law enforcement throughout Kentucky.

To help our police attack the fentanyl and overdose crisis, Andy fought for additional federal resources to help local communities with drug enforcement, prevention efforts, and rehabilitation for people struggling with addiction. Andy also worked to get the STOP Chinese Fentanyl Act signed into law that sanctions anyone involved in fentanyl production in China. The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) estimates half of the fentanyl found in the U.S. is sourced from China.
