New Barr Ad: Riley Gaines Endorses Andy Barr— “He Helped Save Women’s Sports”

Lexington, KY—Today, the Andy Barr for Senate campaign released another ad featuring women’s athletics advocate and former University of Kentucky All American swimmer Riley Gaines, who endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate. This ad will run as part of a seven figure ad buy across broadcast television and digital streaming services.

The full text of the ad is below:

Riley Gaines: They told me to shut up and swim. That girls like me should just accept men in our locker rooms, in our lanes, stealing our trophies.

Riley Gaines: I’m Riley Gaines, and I said no. And so did Andy Barr.

Riley Gaines: Andy Barr fought the radicals, he banned DEI, and helped save women’s sports. President Trump and Andy Barr stood with us when no one else would. That’s why I’m supporting Andy, and you should too.

Barr: I’m Andy Barr, and I approve this message.

Andy Barr is championing the Defend Girls’ Athletics Act in Congress that blocks federal funding for schools and institutions of higher education that refuse to implement President Trump’s Executive Order banning biological men from girls’ sports. He also supported the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, and joined an Amicus Brief proposing that the Supreme Court uphold state bans against men in women’s sports in 2025. Barr continues to vote alongside his conservative values to secure female athletics.

New polling from Emerson College/Fox56 News shows Andy Barr leading the way in the Republican Primary. Barr has more endorsements than all other candidates combined, including from Riley Gaines, DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin, and Congressman Hal Rogers. Barr also has ten times the cash-on-hand as Daniel Cameron.
