County Judge/Executives from both parties back Barr’s campaign for U.S. Senate
LEXINGTON, KY — Andy Barr, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, today announced the endorsement of County Judge/Executives from across Kentucky. The bipartisan group of local leaders joins a growing coalition of elected officials supporting Barr’s campaign for the United States Senate.
“I’m grateful to have the support of County Judge/Executives from across the Commonwealth and both sides of the aisle,” said Andy Barr. “Whether you’re a Republican or a Democrat, we all want the same things for our communities: good-paying jobs, strong local economies, safe roads, and opportunities for our families. I’ve always believed that getting things done for Kentucky matters more than party labels, and I’ll continue working with local leaders from every corner of the Commonwealth in the U.S. Senate.”
“As County Judge/Executives, we see firsthand what our communities need, and we need leaders in Washington who understand those challenges. Andy Barr has been a strong advocate for Kentucky’s counties, whether it’s supporting infrastructure, creating jobs, or standing up for our farmers and small businesses. I know he’ll continue that work in the U.S. Senate, and I’m proud to endorse him,” said Adam O’Nan, President of the Kentucky Association of Counties.
Barr has earned the support of more than 200 major endorsers in Kentucky and across the country, including members of Kentucky’s State House and State Senate Republican Conferences.
