Winchester, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Greg Elkins (R-28th) endorsed Andy Barr to be the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Senator Elkins was the CEO of a successful waste management business in Central Kentucky for years and is a veteran of the Kentucky Army National Guard.
“Congressman Andy Barr is battle-tested and proven,” said Senator Elkins. “He’s won tough races because he never backs down from a fight and always puts Kentucky first. Andy has been unwavering in his commitment to President Trump’s America First agenda: protecting our borders, defending our values, and standing up to the D.C. swamp. He has the experience and grit to continue that fight in the U.S. Senate. I’m proud to endorse him.”

Senator Elkins has represented Clark, Bath, Montgomery, and Menifee Counties plus part Fayette County since his election to the State Senate in June of 2023.
