Bowling Green, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Mike Wilson (R-32) endorsed Andy Barr to be the next U.S. Senator from Kentucky. Senator Wilson serves as the Senate Majority Whip for Kentucky State Senate Republicans. Senator Wilson has served as a business leader of his community for over 30 years and is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
“Western Kentucky needs a leader with proven results, and someone who has the experience and relationships in Washington DC who can hit the ground running for Kentucky as our next U.S. Senator. That candidate is Andy Barr,” said Senator Wilson. “He’s someone I know personally that’s a conservative, he supported President Trump, he’s delivered for Kentucky, and he will work tirelessly to represent our Commonwealth. I’m with Andy Barr and I’m looking forward to working with him as our next U.S. Senator to better our region and our state.”
“I’m deeply honored to have the support of my good friend Sen. Mike Wilson,” said Barr. “Few people understand Western Kentucky the way Sen. Wilson does. He’s a trusted leader with a strong pulse on the issues that matter most to families in the region. His support means a great deal to me, and I’m grateful to have him by my side. Together, we’re committed to building a stronger, brighter future for Kentucky families—and I look forward to working closely with him to deliver real results.”
Senator Wilson has represented Kentucky’s 32nd Senate District since 2011. Senate District 32 now includes all of Logan, Simpson, and Todd counties, as well as part of Warren County.
