Pineville, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Scott Madon (SD-29) endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“I am proud to stand with and support Andy Barr,” said Senator Madon. “He shares the values and concerns of the Mountain people and understands the obstacles that we face in Eastern Kentucky. Andy Barr will be a leader that the people in my district can count on.“
“As a former Mayor, Scott understands the importance of partnering at a federal, state, and local level to deliver for our communities,” said Barr. “Together, Senator Madon and I will fight for Eastern Kentucky—defending coal, standing with our farmers, and creating good-paying jobs.”
Senator Madon has represented Bell, Floyd, Harlan, Knott, and Letcher Counties in the State Senate since January. He previously served as Mayor of Pineville, Kentucky from 1988-1992 and again from 2015-2025.
