For too long, Washington bureaucrats and radical environmentalists have waged a war on Kentucky energy — putting miners out of work and hollowing out our communities. I’m fighting back with a serious, pro-jobs plan that expands markets for coal, strengthens American energy independence, and keeps Kentucky at the center of our nation’s energy economy.

Daniel Cameron and Nate Morris SUPPORTED the War on Coal
I’m the only candidate talking about bringing back coal in this race and the only candidate with a strong record of fighting for, not against, our miners. When Daniel Cameron was Attorney General, he SUPPORTED closing coal plants. And then there’s Nate Morris, who supported the Obama/Biden Paris Climate Accords that would have destroyed Kentucky’s energy industry.
We don’t need more empty promises from politicians, we need leaders with a strong and proven record fighting for coal and our miners when it counts. Just like President Trump said, we are looking to “put our miners back to work,” and I’ll work everyday alongside him to make sure of it.
