Frankfort, KY—Today, Andy Barr officially filed to run for the U.S. Senate. Barr is entering the race with surging grassroots momentum, record fundraising, and overwhelming support from leaders across Kentucky.
Barr is the only candidate gaining ground in the polls, backed by more than 50 endorsements from federal, state, and local officials across the Commonwealth, and boasting more than ten times the cash-on-hand of his opponent, Daniel Cameron.
“I’m running for U.S. Senate to fight with President Trump to save this country and Make America Great Again,” Barr said in a statement following his filing. “Together, we’ve beaten Amy McGrath before. Next year, we will do it again.”
According to third-quarter FEC reports, Barr holds more than $6.6 million cash-on-hand—over ten times that of failed gubernatorial candidate Daniel Cameron, who reported just $629,748. Polling shows Barr continuing to rise as Cameron’s support has dropped by more than ten points since March.
With record resources, grassroots energy, and a proven conservative record, Andy Barr enters the 2026 race as the clear frontrunner to deliver another major Republican victory for Kentucky. Here is the full list of Barr endorsements:
