LEXINGTON, KY — Congressman Andy Barr, the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, continues to hold a commanding financial advantage over Socialist Charles Booker heading into the final weeks of the general election.

Barr’s campaign raised more than $1.5 million in the third quarter and reports more than $2.7 million cash on hand, compared to Booker’s $343,925.12. Booker’s campaign also carries approximately $140,000 in debt.

Barr has raised a total of $9,176,897.55 throughout the election cycle, demonstrating strong support for his campaign to bring Kentucky common sense to the United States Senate.

“Andy Barr is heading into the final weeks of this election with overwhelming momentum and the resources to finish strong,” said Alex Bellizzi, Campaign Spokesman for Barr. “While Andy continues to earn the support of Kentuckians who want lower costs, safer communities, and strong conservative leadership, Charles Booker is struggling to keep up and carrying $140,000 in campaign debt. Kentucky voters have a clear choice between Andy Barr’s proven record of delivering results and Booker’s radical socialist agenda. Kentucky common sense will win in November.”
