Lexington, KY—Today, the third independently conducted poll in the 2026 Republican primary for U.S. Senate showed Andy Barr clearly leading. The joint poll from Emerson College/Nexstar Media has Barr pulling away with 28%, 21% for Daniel Cameron, and Nate Morris stuck in the basement at 15%. Barr also leads as the candidate seen most as supporting President Trump at 38% respectively followed by Cameron 22% and Morris 21%.
“The more Kentucky Republicans learn about Andy Barr, the more they want to send him to the Senate as their America First champion. Just like President Trump said at his Northern Kentucky rally last month, Andy has been with President Trump all the way. The clock has run out on Nate Morris’ failed vanity project, which has generated one point in support for every million dollar spent. It is time for Kentucky Republicans to unite behind Andy Barr, the clear leader in this race, and put this race away for Republicans in November,” said Alex Bellizzi, Communications Director for Barr’s campaign.
Andy Barr has over 160 major endorsements in the race, more than all of his opponents combined. Barr is backed by President Trump’s new Secretary of Homeland Security, Markwayne Mullin. He also has endorsements from Congressman Hal Rogers, 10 sitting state Senators, 23 sitting KY House Reps, 26 County Judge/Executives, and conservative leader Riley Gaines.
