KY State Rep Rebecca Raymer Endorses Andy Barr for U.S. Senate

Morgantown, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Representative Rebecca Raymer (R-HD-15) endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.

“As a mom and a nurse, I’m backing Andy Barr because he has a record of delivering for Kentucky families and enhancing rural healthcare access,” said Representative Raymer. “I look forward to working with Andy to replicate some of the work he’s done to expand access to healthcare in Montgomery County, Kentucky.”

“Representative Raymer has established herself as a true leader and champion for healthcare, an advocate for sexual assault victims, and for rural Kentucky in the State House,” said Barr. “I’m grateful to have her support and I know that together, we will deliver for Butler and Muhlenberg Counties and the entire Western Kentucky region.”

Representative Raymer has represented Kentucky’s 15th House District since 2023. The District includes Butler and Muhlenberg Counties. Prior to her election to the Kentucky House of Representatives, she was a nurse at Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green for almost two decades.

In 2022, Barr delivered a major federal grant to the Post Clinic in Montgomery County, Kentucky, to expand access to rural healthcare at a facility that primarily provides care to Kentuckians on Medicaid.
