Lexington, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Senator Amanda Mays Bledsoe endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“For over a decade, I’ve seen firsthand Andy Barr’s dedication to Central Kentucky families and small businesses,” said Senator Bledsoe. “When our communities needed federal backing for a key economic development project or leadership in Washington to secure tax relief, Andy never failed to deliver. I’m proud to call him a friend, a partner for Central Kentucky, and even prouder to endorse him to be our next U.S. Senator.”
“Amanda Mays Bledsoe is a battle-tested conservative who has taken on the tough fights and delivered real results for Central Kentucky,” said Barr. “She’s rewarded voters by bringing home big wins for our families, small businesses, and communities. Together, we’ve worked hand-in-hand on critical economic development projects, and I look forward to building on that partnership as Kentucky’s next U.S. Senator.”
Senator Bledsoe has represented Kentucky’s 12th Senate District since 2023. The District includes Boyle, Mercer, Woodford, and part of Fayette Counties. Prior to her service in Frankfort, she served for almost a decade on the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Council.
