Lexington, Kentucky—Today, Joe Lambert, the former Chief Justice of the Kentucky Supreme Court, endorsed Andy Barr to be Kentucky’s next U.S. Senator.
“During his service as Central Kentucky’s champion in the U.S. House of Representatives, Andy has earned the confidence of Kentuckians,” said former Chief Justice Lambert. “He will continue to build on this success as our next Senator. I enthusiastically endorse him to be our next U.S. Senator.”
“Chief Justice Lambert served Kentuckians with distinction for decades,” said Barr. “A strong constitutional conservative, he always upheld the rule of law. I’m honored by his endorsement and will fight every day to protect the Constitution, law enforcement, and our legal system.”
Former Chief Justice Lambert was first elected to the Kentucky Supreme Court in 1986. He served as Chief Justice from 1998-2008. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law.
