Louisville, Kentucky—Following Wednesday night’s Jefferson County Lincoln Day Dinner, Kentucky State Representative Chris Lewis (HD-29) announced he will endorse Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“It’s clear to me that Andy Barr is the right pick to be our next Senator. Andy is a strong conservative who has always been pro-life, pro-Second Amendment, and pro-Kentucky,” said Rep. Lewis. “Andy has made Lexington stronger through his service in the House and is the perfect person to strengthen the city of Louisville in the U.S. Senate.”
“I’m grateful to have the support of Rep. Chris Lewis to be Kentucky’s next U.S. Senator,” said Barr. “There is so much potential in Jefferson County and I look forward to partnering with Rep. Lewis and others to fight for economic development, for jobs, and for Jefferson County.”
Representative Lewis represents the 29th District in the State House, that includes part of Louisville. He’s served as a State Representative since 2025. Rep. Lewis has dedicated over 20 years of service to Jefferson County including time working on the Louisville Metro Council, in the U.S. House of Representatives, and now the State House.
