Paris, Kentucky—Today, Kentucky State Representative Matt Koch (R-HD-72) endorsed Andy Barr to be the next Senator from Kentucky.
“I’ve worked closely with Andy as our Congressman and witnessed firsthand the results he delivers for our communities,” said Rep. Koch. “From securing federal resources to cutting through red tape for families, farmers, and veterans, Andy Barr gets things done. Kentucky will have no stronger voice in the U.S. Senate.”
“Matt Koch has dedicated his career to the service of our country and our Commonwealth. I’ve enjoyed working side-by-side with him to advocate for Bourbon, Nicholas, and Fleming Counties,” said Barr. “I look forward to achieving even more together when I’m in the U.S. Senate.”
Rep. Koch has represented Kentucky’s 72nd House District since 2019. He runs a family horse farm in Bourbon County. Rep. Koch also served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was deployed to Kosovo and also did a tour of duty during the Afghanistan War.
