Monticello, KY—Today, Monticello Mayor Kenny Catron endorsed Andy Barr for U.S. Senate.
“Rural communities need leaders who understand us, and Andy Barr always has,” said Mayor Catron. “He’s always stood with our farmers, small businesses, and law enforcement. Andy’s also a champion for Kentucky’s thoroughbred horse racing industry, delivering key tax cuts with President Trump earlier this year that helped the industry boom. I’m proud to endorse Andy to be our next U.S. Senator.”
“The Catron family has made such an impact in Monticello and Wayne County. As Mayor, Kenny Catron has made that family legacy even stronger,” said Barr. “He’s been a great Mayor and I’m honored to have his support. In the U.S. Senate, I’ll keep fighting for rural Kentucky and our conservative values.”
Mayor Catron followed in his father’s footsteps to run and be elected as Monticello’s Mayor in 2022. For over 20 years, Mayor Catron has been an entrepreneur and horse trainer in Central Kentucky.
