Lexington, Kentucky— Today, Andy Barr is responding to recycled attacks from the Club For Growth Never Trump super PAC, Win It Back. Once again, they are running false television ads over Barr’s support for President Donald Trump’s border security agenda. The Never Trump PAC spent millions last year trying to defeat Andy Barr—just like they did when President Trump ran for President in 2024. Their preferred candidate, Nate Morris, is in last place in the polls.
“Let’s be clear: I never have and never will support amnesty,” said Barr. “Win It Back is criticizing me for voting to support President Trump’s plans to secure the border, build the wall, and enforce our laws. Just like President Trump said in Kentucky earlier this month, I’ve been with him all the way—and I always will be.”
Barr is endorsed by Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), President Trump’s nominee to lead the Department of Homeland Security. Barr holds an A+ rating from NumbersUSA, the nation’s preeminent border security organization, in recognition of his consistent record fighting illegal immigration and supporting strong enforcement policies.
Despite spending millions of dollars on attack ads last year, The Never Trump PAC failed to move the race—and now, five months later, they are recycling the same false attacks.
The facts are clear: Andy Barr supported both the Securing America’s Future Act (Goodlatte I) and the Border Security and Immigration Reform Act (Goodlatte II)—the very legislation backed by President Trump that would have funded nearly $25 billion for the border wall and strengthened immigration enforcement. When Democrats blocked the bill, Barr continued the fight by defending President Trump’s authority to build the wall.
Now, Nate Morris and his Never Trump allies are attacking Barr for supporting President Trump’s agenda—putting themselves on the same side as Nancy Pelosi, Hakeem Jeffries, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, and other Democrats who opposed the legislation.
